In his capacity as the Assistant Director General of Dubai Airport Free Zone, Nasser Al Madani plays a major role in the strategic direction and the management of the organization. With extensive experience in the promotion and operation of Free Zones, Nasser has led several strategic initiatives that transformed Dubai Airport Free Zone into one of the leading Free Zones globally.
Nasser is a graduate of Economic from the UK and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from Harvard Business School. He has more than 25 years of experience in Free Zones and Ports, with previous positions including Head of Human Resources at DP World for over a decade, where he was responsible for the introduction of many initiatives as well as working through merger and acquisitions. Prior to this role, Nasser headed up the Administration of Jebel Ali Free Zone for many years.
More recently, Nasser contributed to the establishment of the World Free Zones Organization (a global organization that works as an association of all Free Zones around the world). He was a member of a small core team that formulated the concept and worked through the creation and establishment of this global organization.
In another field, Nasser has been actively involved for several decades in the management and organization of the sport of Tennis. He has acted as a member of several associations and committees both regionally and internationally.
