Monica de Greiff will outline the changing trade and investment patterns for Colombian companies and explores the potential place of Dubai in their strategies.
Mónica de Greiff has been president of the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce since 2013. From 2009 to 2013 she was chief executive officer of the Bogotá Energy Group. Mrs de Greiff served as secretary of economic development of Bogotá in 2008-09. Earlier in her career she was vice-president of legal and public affairs for Shell Colombia. She was general secretary of the Mines and Energy Ministry in 1995-98, and the following year was the first woman to be appointed justice minister. She has also worked as an independent consultant in strategic communications, legislative monitoring, and procurement issues. Mrs de Greiff holds a post-graduate degree in administrative law from Rosario University in Bogotá.Back to programme
