As Group Executive, Latin America and Caribbean, Eduardo Coello is responsible for Visa’s operations in 44 markets in the region. Now, collaborating with the Global Resilient Cities Network, Visa is helping cities deploy technologies to build digital economies.

Eduardo Coello joined Visa Inc. in 2000 and is regional president for Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC), responsible for all operations in 44 markets and territories of the LAC region. He was previously senior vice-president for LAC and country manager of Visa Mexico. Mr Coello has more than 25 years’ experience in the business and financial sectors. Prior to joining Visa he worked at Procter & Gamble from 1987 to 1994 on new-initiative planning, management and development. Later, at Bancomer, he worked directly with corporate clients in the areas of credit screening and financing, among other services.
