GBF Africa is an invitation only event. If you have been sent an invitation, you will have a unique registration code which you can find on any of the official invitation emails we have sent you. You can use this code to register for the event. To do so, click here.

If you have not been invited to attend but would like to apply to register, please contact us using the following form entering your details and why you would like to attend GBF Africa. We will contact you within 48 hours to confirm if there is space at the event.

If you are a media professional – you can register to attend by entering your credentials here.
Once you have registered for GBF Africa online, you will receive an email confirming your attendance. Please check your firewall setting and spam filter if you do not receive it. We will keep you up to date on the Forum with regular emails and should you have any questions or require assistance you can contact us on agbf@economist.com.

GBF Africa is a free to attend but by invitation only Forum.

Registered delegates will receive an email, which contains log in details to access their personal GBF Africa profile. Here, you can see gain access to all Forum attendees and arrange one on one meetings at the event.This profile will be accessible to registered delegates only in the coming months.

In addition, your profile will also become available on the GBF Africa app, which will be downloadable from the App store in September.
The GBF Africa app will be available to download from the App store and Google Play store from September. We will share the details of how to download it with registered delegates as soon as it is available.

Dubai offers a huge number of hotels covering a range of budgets and traveling around Dubai using public transport is very easy. Our official travel agents have recommended a number of hotels, which they can book on your behalf and can be seen on the login page for registered delegates.

The event is taking place at the Madinat Jumeirah. Dubai Taxi Corporation provide licensed taxis across the city which are available at a very reasonable rate. Taxis are easy to pick up and can be pre-booked or hailed on the street. This is the most direct way to access the Forum venue directly. More information can be found at www.dubaitaxi.ae.

The dress code for the Forum is national dress or business attire.

Registration will open from 9.00am to 21.00pm

Day 1 - 1st November 2017
Registration will open at 9.00am and concluding following the cultural programme at 19.00pm

Day 2 - 2nd November 2017
Registration will open at 8.00am with the Forum's main programme starting at 9.30am and finishes at 15.00pm

Africa Live – Culture on the Terrace will take place on Wednesday 1 November from 5-7pm. There will be a combination of short talks, performances and exhibitions, celebrating young African and UAE cultural entrepreneurs.
Yes, there will be simultaneous translation into French and Arabic throughout the duration of the Forum.
